This guitar, as all our guitars, has a unique clarity to it.  There is only one word to describe the tone that comes from these guitars……pure.

Plug it in to a VOX AC30, Roland Jazz Chorus, or Fender Twin, and you will here the magic that only a Liquid Metal Gutiar can produce, an amazing clean tone. Once you play any LMG guitar you will feel something, you will feel the guitars mojo speaking to you.

These guitars have an energy to them that simply can not be felt from a guitar made of traditional materials.  Enough about the clean and clear, take this sucker and plug it into a JCM800 and look out!!!!!  This is a great combination of Heaven and Hell!  It can down right snarl when you need it too!!  This guitar will respond to your dynamics!!

The Guitar’s Body

A solid block of aircraft aluminum alloy, machined to our proprietary geometry. This is the shape that we found in our extensive research and development to have the best qualities for tone.

The body of the M1, as you see on the right, is shaped and sculpted to show off the best facets of its chrome or gold finish. We took the idea of sculpted chrome Kohler faucet, beautiful smooth lines. The chromed body is 17″ long from the tip of the top horn to the back, 13 1/2″ at the widest body point with a 7 3/4″ waist. The guitar weighs 9.75 lbs.
Tv Jones Pickups

The tone of this beautiful beast, is brought to life by a set of TV Jones Custom powertrons, unique, only for Liquid Metal Guitars. As wtih all of our guitars these pickups were a result of the guitar spending some time with the Tom, the T in T.V. Jones, in his shop near Seattle. He originally thought to use a lower powered pickup set, but soon came to realize that the unique physial characteristics let a much higher output pick up work with out sound shrill or brittle. Tom used a thicker, higher pole piece to take advantage of the sustaining qualities of our metal. Thus they have a wide dynamic range, the more you dig in the guitar will respond.

The Guitar’s Neck

the head stock is angled at 8% to give a great pull down pressure on the strings through the nut, this is a feature that we believe really enhances the long gig playability of the guitar. This too gets you better fretting and provide crisper notes.

More angle, the neck pocket is machined into the body at a 2 degree angle, this allows for exceptional intonation.

A diamond ground fingerboard is accurate to within one thousandth of an inch for super low string action if like.

Hard alloy precision medium jumbo frets are .103 wide and .048 tall.

The neck is a wonderful balance between thickness and speed, we use a radius that is on our opinon the best for feel and for functionality.

The neck is painted black, with three coats of black paint then seven thin coats of clear, that is wet sanded and buffed after each coat. It glistens too, but is smooth to work on.

Keeping The Guitar In Tune.

Tuners Gotoh’s six in line mini – tuners, are beautiful to look at and a dream to use, with an 18:1 ratio. The tuners have unique permanent Lubri-Plate™ coating on the gears assures consistent lubrication without grease, for smoother tuning. Gotoh’s new Rock-Solid™ string posts eliminate looseness for better tuning stability, they stay in tune.

The Nut

The Strings.

We put DR strings, they have the most incredible sound, just perfect guitar sound. They are hand wound on a round core. This is based on a very old method, but executed with the latest most advanced metal available. The other thing about these strings, is the feel, absolutely unbelievable, so smooth and easy to touch, nothing harsh on them at all. Even if you don’t buy our guitars , you should put these on your guitar.

  • This body is machined from a solid block of aircraft grade 6061 T6 Aluminum to proprietary thickness with the most beautiful curves.
